“We don’t make major life decisions when we’re suffering from a loss.” – Jessica Pearson from Suits
Obviously, catching up on watching Suits and I’m learning a few important life lessons.
Everyone goes through a suffering or a loss at one point in their life and it hits us really hard. I’m not talking about just losing a loved one, but losing what we each consider is most precious to us. Our mind gets clouded by the misery and suffering we feel. Whatever the feeling, we make the mistake of letting it get to us and take over. This in turn, causes us to take action, which at the moment feels right so right. However, that moment is a moment and it doesn’t last, but the consequences of the action does. We often overlook that and our mind is so blurred from the future. The action we decide to take is not the smartest of decisions either. If we want to commit to the best action, we must think it through and make sure that it is the only action we need to take. Make it a sure-win, with only 1 possibility of us coming out on top.
